Selection Procedure
1. Online examination
At First the candidate have to clear the online examination and the syllabus will be basically depend on fluid mechanics,heat transfer,thermodynamics,logical reasoning,and basic mechanical engineering questions...
2. Personal Interview
Applicants are interviewed by a panel of educators and maritime professionals to assess the applicants' communication skills, leadership potential, clarity of thought, maturity and reasoning abilities. The panel also looks for any extracurricular achievements of the candidate.
3. Medical examination
Medical practitioners appointed by the Institute will examine all selected candidates for certifying conformation with the medical requirements laid down by the Institute and D.G. SHIPPING OF INDIA.
4.Psychometric test
Psychometric testing refers to the process of measuring a candidate's relevant strengths and weaknesses. This form of measurement is primarily employed to assess employment suitability, including company-candidate fit.
